The World Beverage Innovation Awards were held on November 14, 2018 in Brau Bevaile, Germany. During Drinktec, the trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry, which is the must-attend event for the beverage industry worldwide.
O-I : EXPRESSIONS was awarded the "Best Glass Bottle" prize for its new inkjet printing innovation, which is fully recyclable since the innovation of this new printing machine is to be able to print any design and overlay it with the premium O-I : EXPRESSIONS RELIEF range adding relief to the bottles' decoration with 3D printing, quickly thanks to UV curing. This printing technique is made from organic and durable ink, which eliminates the need for any additional labeling on the bottle, thus facilitating glass recycling.
